Not the be rude, but I despise the Pens announcers. I know all team announcers are somewhat biased, but they are so pro Pens it's not even funny. They hardly ever give credit to opposing teams. JMO. :p

Steigerwald is a homer. Errey almost always says when a Penguin embellishes a call or when goals shouldn't count even if they're the Penguins. I consider him to be fairly objective.

Steiggy on the other hand...the Pens can do no wrong.

A decent amount of neutral zone play, but both teams have had some exciting shifts with good puck possession.

After the Crosby goal the Pens have amped up their play. Done a good job against the robots. But as we all know you can't contain them for long.

I was so happy they got the goal because I thought they played pretty well this period, but sometimes when they don't get rewarded for it, they can't keep it up.

They seem to be actually taking this game seriously as a measuring stick. Hope to see two more good periods of hockey. I am sick, and I'm pretty sure a good hockey game will cure me.

Good period of hockey by both teams... a bit more so from the Pens side. The Pens are playing tight giving no room. Very good one on one battles both ways, a good PK leads to a fortunate bounce and goal for the Pens.

Hopefully more of the same for 40 minutes.

I really like Fleury's new pads. Just thrrrowing that out there. And in response to the Pens announcers comments: as has been said before, probably every Pens fan, no matter how homertastic, will agree that Steiggy is an idiot. No clue how he still has a job. Errey is okay though...good as a color man, knows his stuff, funny occasionally, etc. Favorite moment was the stall talk with Potash last game. "I actually sat in that stall too." "I've sat there before too!" "No, I mean my hockey equipment was in that stall." "Oh..."
