ok yes its a head shot and yes he will get suspended but unless taylor hall doesnt lower his body as he goes to stop his head doesnt get into edlers shoulder. alot of players will get suspended this season that wont deserve it. this is one of them. but you gotta protect the noodles in this league. and since it was Edmontons Golden boy and vancouver has such a deep defense I expect the league to make another example of this. probably 2 games

Well, TBO, it looked like he blindly threw his elbow out and will get hit with the reckless provision they've been implementing. Hall is 3 inches shorter to begin with and when he crouches, is more like 5-6 inches shorter. What's his history? Has he been suspended before? Maybe he'll get a fine and a warning. I think Shanny takes the severity of the hit and clear intent into consideration. Personally, I don't think he targeted the head.

looks to me (homer) like Edler tried to pop back at him (when he looked back, Hall was coming right for him), but Hall cut low to try to get around Edler.
remember, you are also allowed to call 2 or 5 for a hit to the head, and call it a day (no further penalty)

BTM - Edler has never had a suspension before. hell, he only has 24 PIMs all last year.
