Hey Naslund. I saw some comments on TSN after the game the other night (mind you after a loss) that some fans are wondering if Bobby Lou should be captain. Most of the comments were things like as the starting goalie his concentration should be on his game and not other issues.

Is this BS or do you think there is something to it? Has his play gone down that much since being named captain?

I thought he was more of a captain in name only and really not like on most teams.

Interested to here Canucks fans thoughts on this.

In my opinion, Boss, his play went down after the Olympics, and he admitted the gold medal was affecting his play. As far as being captain, you pretty much hit it, I think. More of a locker room role, from what I've read. But I live in Washington, so I don't know all the details.

Injury history aside, I think every guy no matter who you root for feels bad for Sami after that. That's painful to even think about. And that was with all the protection hockey players have down there. Imagine if he didn't have a cup on. He'd probably be dead.

I feel bad for him. As I posted in pix topic, I hit my brother with a pretty good slap shot once and he fell like a rock. I felt like shit and this was my brother !!!!


Damn, that's gotta hurt so much !!!
