I said don't be hating... But when was the last time a Pelini defense shut down a mobile quarterback? It dates back to '03 with El Roberson, Vince Young, and Brad Smith. Then we have Tyrod Taylor in '08. Russel Wilson, Kain Coulter, and Braxton Miller. They defeated Nebraska except Miller and he most likely would have if he hadn't tripped on Fishers helmet. I hope that Hundley gets nervous and has a bad game but Bo past history with these types of qb's speaks for itself.

Forgot to add Garret Gilbert's 11 carries for 71 yards and throwing for 62 as another example of Bo's inability to stop mobile qb. We can debate if Colt was a mobile qb but bottom line is Bo's defense didn't get it done and never beat him.

Bo's defense is very good against pocket passing qb's - Washington (1st time), Michigan State, Okie Light but if they have any ounce of mobility - its usually a loss. It's hard to stop the mobile qb but Texas in 2010 and Alabama against Michigan made it look easy.

Pelini might need to swallow his pride and watch a game in which a mobile QB is shut down. Last year, Michigan St. shut down Miller before Nebraska played OSU. Pelini should have learned from that game. The guy was a freshman QB for crying out loud! Show some of the same type of defense, and we win comfortably!

I bet Robinson runs all over Nebraska and it might not be because they have more athletic players, but it may just be because of Pelini's scheme on defense.

If I was a reporter, I would be tempted to ask Bo why running QBs continually run through our defense like liquid shit through a tin horn.

I suggest + reps to this poster.

Brasky negged him into the red just for posting his prediction using reasonable thought. I repped him back to green, so Brasky negged me with "LMAO" as his comment.

I don't think that using neg rep to bully opinion (especially a fellow huskers opinion) is what this forum is all about.
I don't care about the neg he gave me (I didn't even stoop to his level of scum by negging him back) because he can't put me into the red, but for new posters to sign up here and be bullied into posting what Brasky wants to see in order to prevent being negged into the red is just wrong.

Brasky is no longer a mod for the same reasons ie....using that power to control opinion. Dude has serious mental issues.

Ye dumbshitz.......

2nd half of thee Ohio State game last year we made adjustments and shut Miller down. He attempted to run a few times and we stuffed his ass. Eventually he twisted his poor wittle ankle because of our Defensive adjustments.....

We can stop mobile QBs, and we will do so this weekend. We will give up yards between the 20s here and there, and all of ye will freak out and poop yourn pants en sech........but thar 5 star QB aint gonna bust off any 50 yard TD runs on us.

52-20, Huskerz r*pe

I thought our Defense did well the 2nd half of the Southern Miss game. UCLA will be better that them though as regardless of their past records, they have a solid level of talent on their list.

I just hope we go in there and play flawless ball up until we get a big enough lead to allow more of our developmental players to get in.

I am not ready to put on the rose colored glasses yet and won't be until we have a few games like (Wisconsin and Ohio State) behind us. If we have strong showing in those games, I will then re-consider pulling my rose colored glasses out of the moth balls.

Adjustments were obviously made at halftime. The defense did a very good job the second half.

I gave all mine out already red alert!

I am new here but can't say I have seen them given out to anyone so far. What is the purpose for a neg rep? (To show you don't agree with a post someone else made or does it count against you and get you banned)?

I thought so too! I guess since the Southern Miss coach was new this year Bo had no idea what kind of line up or plays they were going to run and this caused them some issues. From what I seen, we had some players in position in the first half to make great tackles but over pursued. I also saw that Southern Miss had the opportunity to score a couple of TDs (If their receivers could have caught the ball).

I re-watched game (DVR) and we left a few points on the field but they left about 14 too. So if we gave them the benefit of doubt, I say the final score should have been about 55 to 35.

Hope I don't get neg reps for saying that.

The amount of rep one has is pretty meaningless actually as long as it is positive (green). However, if it's negative (red) it gives others the opinion that you are a troll or not well liked on the forum. Nebraska885 did not deserve to be negged into the red for simply putting up his prediction. It was typical Brasky trying to control content of the forum. He used to change and delete posts here when he was a mod and threaten bannings if fellow posters questioned him or didn't post what he wanted to see.

A positive rep for Nebraska885 will negate the current gutless Brasky tactic.

I did rep because for some, this place is really the only outlet some people have. People should be allowed to state their opinion.

FYI...don't know 885 personally, so he may talk husker football all day..but as irule can tell you...no one cares when I post about nebraska on me Facebook page
