Yeah -- not crazy about this but it is what it is. I think that it's solidified the ACC more. I'm curious as to whether this will affect the ACC's football money (considering Notre Dame will play 5 ACC football games/season, assuming 2-3 of those will be in an ACC venue). I could see FedEx ACC-NotreDame games a lot. What's more interesting is that the ACC prez's have upped their exit fee to ~ $50 million ... so now I'm waiting on someone to try to convince me that FSU is going to pay that to leave the ACC to play football an average of 12hr drive away.

we added a pretty good basketball team to our conference, we didnt add anyone for football...ND football is just an OOC team that will play 5 ACC teams a year and be eligible for our bowl tie ins. bull. shit.

What the hell? They are eligible for the bowl tie ins? Ridiculous they are allowing this, but I guess you sacrifice the short term for the long term. Do you really see NBC signing an extension? I am assuming ACC is anticipating it. Either way though, adding Notre Dame isn't a big deal. Wish the SEC would have added them as a punching bag. Would have been fun.
