Wow, what a terrible overturn. I think they screwed up the Stanford fumble in the first half, too. I can't remember the last time there were two replays that I disagreed with, but we are there today.

What exactly would suggest this to you? They have one common opponent, which Stanford performed about 14 points better against. Outside of that, Notre Dame's best win was better and neither of their losses were blowouts. This game is exactly what one would expect based on past results: Stanford is the slightly better team, and they are playing like it.

He just threw a deep TD. He hasn't played great, but he hasn't done anything to change his position in the race either.

Notre Dame has one good win

a loss to 5-6 USF

an acceptable loss to USC

and a loss to Michigan, who I am not high on.

Stanford's TD came when a defensive back slipped on the terrible turf. Both teams have missed first downs because of slipping, as well. People make fun of Soldier Field and Heinz Field in the NFL, but this is much worse.
