This team goes the way Kizer goes pretty much every game. I knew the only way ND had a chance in hell to compete/or win <gasp> is Kizer having a career day.

This defense has been so putrid this year, ND has had to rely on the O & Kizer to win the games. Some he did ... some he didn't. The ones he didn't, usually involved some sort of mental meltdown where he couldn't handle the pressure and tried to do too much. Kelly's crap game plan, crap play calling & crap in-game/halftime adjustments just made it all the tougher on the kid.

The ability is definitely there ... it's his mental game that's lacking.

Sure he is... who cares about the L's look at his stats. Heisman shouldn't be won by a team's record, just by the stats (and the SoS from those stats) IMO
