Not a bad pick. Calvin definitely needs help.

Although I have a man crush for Mike Evans, it would be hard to justify that pick because A) the Lions just signed Tate to a 40 mil deal and B) they have so many more GLARING needs then what would seem to be a luxury pick.

With that said, that would be a very potent aerial attack in the D if it happens.

Yes but CJ is getting beat up. He won't produce at this high level forever. I think in about 3 years he'll start his decline if he keeps getting triple teamed and taking all these hits because he has to be the main offense. This gives Evans a few years to learn from the best. Tate isn't a #1, but Evans has that potential.

I guess I had pegged DET with CB/S/OL/LB help before drafting a WR. I also thought DET to be a team to wait a bit for that 3rd WR in a WR deep draft and draft immediate impact secondary help early.

I just don't think any of them stack up against Evans' potential. The Lions may draft differently than what I do, but this is how I'd draft if I ruled Detroit.

I figure Wiz will be good with a fresh QB, I hate to say it, but I don't think Locker can stay healthy, or be accurate in the pocket. It was either him or Lewan, but I think Manziel is the better option.
