Both tackles projected high. Michigan had a team full of seniors and 5th year seniors.

He definitely had a very talented line.

Fatanu - proj top 20 pick
Rosengarten - proj 2nd round pick
Yeah, I'm not really sure you can hold the Michigan game against him too much unless you think he is the next CJ Stroud or something.

I have a hard time projecting Washingtons receivers and QB. Two talented tackles, a talented QB, 3 talented receivers. Odunze IIRC had a ton of contested catches. McMillan got free releases.

Didnt he have one of the best Olines in the country?
He completed 65% while throwing a lot of deep balls. Not bad. And it doesn't matter if he had the 93 Cowboys OL, Michigan was sexually assaulting him

Yeah I am not sure how we can sit here and say that any of the guys are "sure things".
Penix has a handful of question marks. If he didn't, he would be a sure top 5 pick. There is a reason he spent so many years in college, it took him time to develop + injuries.
Rome is extremely talented good jump ball guy but he has a weakness unlike Nabers and MHJ.

Penix is great when he has time to throw the deep ball down the field. He is horrid when he is under pressure. Reminds me of Byron Leftwich coming out. He is a weird prospect to me where the deep stuff looks beautiful and the intermediate stuff is often ugly.

That tough thing with McMillian is you really have to go back to his 2022 film too with his injuries in 2023 seeing limited play.

I like McMillian a lot though.

Yes, on Odunze having a ton of contested catches.

I think like a lot of kids, where he ends up matters. The 3 kids going at the top are going to teams that have cap space and are making big changes, but all three sucked last year. I think a guy like Penix or even Nix might end up better off going to a stronger team

Maybe, but I'm guessing one of them (Nix?) ends up with Denver. Not sure I would call that a strong roster, mid at best. Same with the Raiders. Vikes have some holes too, but at least have WRs locked down. Still not as bad as the Pats and probably the Commodes though.

I definitely think the Vikings are the best spot for a rookie QB. Vegas probably 2nd.

Yeah, they're probably ahead of Vegas if only because of their draft picks.

2 young tackles, 1 stud edge, two strong young WRs, solid TE under new contract

Best QB prospect gets the best landing place at #1 overall. Rarity, due to the Panthers being so bad with their rookie QB. THAT was a horrible landing spot, from the WR corps all the way up to the owner.

Yeah.

Crazy saying our roster isn't good for a rookie QB.

3rd out of 6 quarterback needy teams isn't exactly a compliment, just means you're better than the Pats, Commodes and Broncos.

Adams, Meyers at receiver. Mayer is a good TE.

The OL is good.

Best DL in football.

Could be argued Vegas is the best spot for a rookie QB.

If I was tiering it...

Good spots: Vikings, Bears, Raiders
Okay spots: Washington
Bad spots: Broncos, New England

Although if Sean Payton is actually who people think he is then he'll turn the Broncos around in a couple of years
