Dallas going succession plan

That would certainly shake up the draft in real life

You fucking asshole, @UK Cowboy.

That was 1 of the 2 guys I was considering.
Haha. If I was handed the Cowboys current mess, it's the only thing that makes sense to me. The Cowboys and Dak have come out and said they are not negotiating until after the season. If that happens, and Dak becomes a FA, some idiot team might drive up his price to who knows what by then. I know im not paying him $60M per year. So hopefully it would piss him off that I took QB, and then I would tell him that if the season starts to go sideways, we are going with Lance or Penix to see what we have. Maybe then he would waive his no trade clause and maybe we could get something for him as a rental trade

No surprise that’s where the raiders were looking

I think they’re gonna have to move up to land him in real life

Oh. I agree.

They gotta pay Lamb and Parsons. Might make the most sense to reset at the QB position.

But, Lord help Dallas if they ever go back to the days of Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinson.

For sure. We had those days because Jerry is a Dipshit who doesn't plan ahead. I posted on the Cowboys page four years ago that I would trade Dak or let him walk before I would pay him $40M per and take Jordan Love in the first round. It would have cost us not getting Lamb, but I would take that in a second. Lamb is a great receiver, but if we offered to trade him for Love today, the Packers would laugh and hang up. Trey Lance has some talent, but why not take Penix and have two talents kids to look at instead of one.

Sure....if you didn't already have Moore, Allen, Kmet and Swift. Not to mention Everett. Adding Allen and Swift to that offense was huge in FA.

The defense made progress last season but still needs some work. Specifically, the pass rush.
Its not just about yjis year, its also for future,Keenan and Everett are very expendable....

Everett is just a backuo....
Allen maybe a one year rental, not too mentionhe rarely plays a whole season.....he goes down,Bears have nothing there.....

And besides, who turns down the next Kelce.......
Kittle......
LaPorta......
Hockenson.....

He means alot to a rookie qb on a team thats not known for qbs.....
Getting Bowers is getting it right.

Penix at 38 would be insane on real life

Imo he's the best and just b pro ready QB in the draft

Only concern with him it's the injury past but that was years ago and after his pro day and medicals all passing with flying colors i dobt really think they're an issue anymore. I think he's already better than Dak personally

Teams just have questions about his injury history.

Give him a good OL and he could be the best QB in this draft.

In real life Minnesota might be the best fit for him
