It's a 4th round pick. Most of the for sure starters are gone. Now is the time to look for guys that dominated D2 or lower. Perfect LT to come in and learn behind Whitworth.

Most picks at this point are kind of project like picks. Especially at a position like LT.

Not to mention G Rob and Whitworth both might not be on the Rams next year. This pick if it would happen and he would be good - would be huge.

Another 6'2 212 guy that can fly. Not a punisher and played both safety positions. Good for depth at safety.

Really went back and forth on this. Was going to go LB, then RB, but then settled on what we need most + best athlete without injury history. Really liked a OLB that was available but too many injuries in college.


I can get an ILB and RB coming up. Wasn't sure if we even need an RB with Gurley, Dunbar, Brown, and Green. Those are 4 solid, young RBs.

Not bad. Not great. Add in the 1st rounder we gave to Tennessee with:

Reuben Foster - ILB - Alabama or Jonathan Allen - DT - Alabama or one of those safeties and you have a helluva draft class

There's a lot of that going on in the mock now. A lot of guys are being picked that the list I am using for reference is projecting as 6th rd, 7th rd, or even undrafted. You get this deep and the projections don't mean as much. I'm just looking for scouting reports I like or players I have seen succeed.

Well, with the news today that the Bills aren't likely to match the Patsies' offer for Gillislee, at least it was in time to still get a solid back. Pick #156, Jeremy McNichols, RB, Boise State. Wish I could use the Pats' 5th rounder they will get for Gillislee in this mock...
