Geez how many teams you like Wild, Stars, Flyers, Caps, and Penguins maybe. I hate Penguins because Crosby acts like a bitch and whines all the time during their series. The other teams I have no problem with but I'll always support my hometown team. It pains me to say this but yes Crosby is a better player when he is healthy. However that's when he is healthy and his vagina is constantly getting fractured. The caps vs flyers series is going to be a hard hitting matchup and I hope A) caps win series B) they don't get to banged up that it affects their next round.

Dumb question but does hockey not have a first round bye for best standing team?

Ok a couple things, I am NOT A fucking Stars fan! I am not a Caps fan I would root for them over Detroit for sure but i'm not really a fan, I do not now or have I ever liked the Pens since they beat my NORTH Stars in the cup!

First round byes are stupid and should be eliminated in all sports!

Yeah, the penalty kill is what like 25th or 26th, that's horrible and that has to improve in the playoffs or we are a sure one and done. Completely agree we are probably one of the best 5 on 5 teams in the league...

I want no part of Chicago, gimme Dallas and St. Louis all day...

A month or so back we were top 5 in 5 on 5. Considering our special teams sill sucks I'd imagine we still are. We're also just well set up for a playoff series with our style and personal.

I'm definitely not asking for Chicago. Just saying there is no dominant team to fear. So let's hope the new season brings better hockey!!

NFL playoffs aren't a series it's one and done, makes more sense for the NFL although I still don't like byes.

Brought up the Crosby vs Ovechkin thing in our last mock. Even with his horrid start this year, Crosby has blown by Ovie in points.

Ya know, people always call Sid a bitch, but his play hasn't been "bitchy" since like '07. He's a tough hockey player. Sure he complains to the refs some, but Claude Giroux bitches at the refs more than Sid does. Being a huge Penguins fan may disqualify me from this argument, but to me Crosby is hardly a huge bitch. His play is tough and he isn't a one trick pony like Ovi.

I'll be rooting for the Wild @Nosferatu . The Wild are my 2nd favorite team in the NHL, and Parise is my favorite hockey player outside of Pittsburgh. I always root for Minnesota teams. Here's to MIN and PIT meeting in the Cup Finals again this year

That would be fantastic but the NFL likes keeping people thinking that their team has a chance to win. The random nature of single elimination draws casuals in like flies.
