Yeah, I guess with Shanahan as the Niners coach, it is something right now, especially with the Falcons-Niners game happening this past season.

As a Seahawk fan. Lotta Seahawk fans actually look forward to playing the Raiders each time. It was a very big rivalry when we were in AFC West. The Raiders actually knocked us out of the AFC championship game in route to the Super Bowl when they beat the Redskins

Division rivalries are alive and well, IMO. Packers-Bears, Steelers-Ravens, Browns-Bengals, Saints-Falcons, Eagles-Cowboys, Raiders-Chiefs. But are there non-division rivalries that are still alive? I'll let you decide what alive means. If there are any, what are they?

Lopsided of late (BB era) so Idk if rivalry fits, but NE vs PIT seems to be on the schedule a lot for non-DIV teams.

As a 70s era Steeler fan...the Raiders still envoke something. Epic playoff battles with OAK. The Cowboys, used to be, not so much now.

Packers vs Seahawks is a good non division rivalry .... We've had some crazy games with them, especially playoff games...

Poor people in Houston want so badly for there to be a Texans-Cowboys rivalry.

Sorry.

When you only play each other once every four years in the regular season, that is not a rivalry.

These two came to mind for me as well. Not sure the Raiders has much to it anymore but I think the Packers one is still good

I think Seahawks-Panthers was pretty decent for a while because it seemed like those two played almost every year in Carolina, but I think with Cam probably leaving that one is probably done.

Agreed, Panthers are a good one with Seattle as well ..

Man just got me thinking, I miss the old AFC West.... Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs ... MAN, that division was tough back in the day ...

Seahawks vs. Packers easily. Holmgren vs. his former team, Wilson vs. Rodgers, the 'Fail Mary' (even though it was legit and the DPI against Kam that resulted in GBs only TD not to mention the ridiculous holding by GBs offensive line in the second half was not mentioned), Rodgers always bitching about something when he plays Seattle, Favre scoring like 6 straight TDs against Hasselbeck/Tatupu led team in the snow after Seattle was out to like a 21-0 lead in the playoffs, Seattle stupidly trading Ahman Green who killed it for GB.

Lots of stuff there.

Seahawks/Packers

These games have had it all. Close games, blowouts and heart break in the playoffs.

Yeah, The AFC west days are now long gone. Without playing any of them much since we left, there really isn't a true rivalry left there. You might look forward to playing them out of nostalgia, but it's not the same. At all. It kind of was a bit extra nice kicking the every loving dog shit out of the bronco's in SB48 though. Just a lil something from those years with horse face. Watching his reaction in the booth was priceless.

Seahawks/GB has to be our top one.
Panthers were kind of there for a bit since we seemed to play them every year, but Cam isn't the same and neither is this budding rivalry.
Saints kind of come to mind, but not quite enough games to really solidify it either. Do love watching Drew and Russ going head to head though. Almost as much as Wilson and Rodgers.

i disagree, Pittsburgh fans think the patriots are a rival. The patriots laugh at us. They own us, You have to have some good games, and win once in a while to be a rival.

really?

How bout chiefs-texans

Patriots respect the Steelers. A winning organization not at there best (right now) but always competitive.
