Trent Brown to the Raiders.
If I'm a SF fan I'm asking wtf Lynch . Traded T Brown for peanuts. Not to mention their horrendous 2017 draft.

NE playing chess while the rest of the NFL playing jacks. BB got another 3rd round comp pick due to T brown signing his deal.

Brown wasn't even that great this past season. Closed out the season looking a little better but for most of the season was an average at best LT. Throw in he will no longer be coached by Scar (best OL coach in the business). He now will be coached by one of the worst in Tom Cable.

Kevin Johnson to the Bills. Broncos looked hard into him and even talked some possibility of a trade. CB market could dry up quickly.

Any idea on when we'll start hearing some Broncos signings?

I would guess later in the day. The only ones being released right now are either the lower level guys that know they don't have a market or the Trent Brown deals that reset the market. More will start trickling in as the afternoon wears on and players have a chance to really see their value around the league.

Kwon to SF. Crazy deal. 13.5 a year. Wonder what CJ will want.

Kwon Alexander just got the largest off-ball LB deal in NFL history. Honestly I would be more worried if the Broncos were signing guys right away as it would mean they are just throwing money out left and right. These early deals are ridiculous.

I think it depends on what you think is better, overpaying but getting players you really want or missing out on players you really need because you didn't want to overpay/hoping you can find get good players for cheap.

It is a fine line. I would say it isn't the worst thing in the world to overpay for maybe one player per FA period just to make sure you lock down a position of huge need. Beyond that one player though not worth it. I mean right now the Raiders have the highest paid LT and WR just from the past few days. Brown I could understand but now adding Trent Brown to that combination means their cap is screwed up for the next couple of years and especially Trent Brown is an average player at best for the position.

Mayock is used to doing mock drafts and not managing a cap.

It is definitely showing. Same for the 49ers and John Lynch. They have handed out some very suspect deals this year and last. Very rarely do we see when a player hits FA and gets the biggest deal for their position in history that it works out. There is a reason they are hitting FA.

Also Kwon leaving the Bucs should show all the more that Devin White is their target in the draft at pick 5.

Jesse James to the Lions and Jamison Crowder to the Jets. Broncos had interest in both if other players did not work out.

Jets also working on a deal with Paradis. He will either be a Bill or a Jet from the looks of things. My guess is he signs with the Jets. They are rebuilding that OL and adding some weapons. Doing a good job of giving Darnold a chance at success early on.

He told the Broncos he wants to come back he will give them first chance after contracts offered.
