Not really surprised he didn't live up to the internet hype. I'd like to see a player that exciting exist in the league, but it seems no front offices where fooled by highlight reel marketing. I expect to see an increase of cases like this in the future.

If he begins to prove himself in the UFL, he should be given a chance, but it's the right place for him right now.

Yeah, the NFL, is not just the next level. I thought he might make a good return guy; I'm a fan and I hope he tears up the triple AAA.

The UFL looks like it might just turn into a big NFL tryout in the coming years. Idk if anyone has thought of this, but it might be cool of the UFL acted like minor leagues in baseball. A place for the scout team to play, get experience. The UFL could create a team for every NFL team, and then see where it goes from there. I personally would like it a lot more than the current system.

I think that's the only way these minor league would work. Right now the other leagues are viewed as guys that weren't good enough to make it in the NFL, and people would still think that this way, but at least now they are attached to NFL rosters, and DEVELOPED with those teams in mind.

NFLE didn't succeed financially because it was in other countries, but everyone i know At least enjoyed watching the players attached to their team.

I'd love to see the guys who didn't make the cut for us, be developed for us if they wanted too. I'm sure the players would love to play more too, it beats sitting on a bench. By being officially attached to the NFL roster, it would be more effective as a developmental tool. NFLE had a bunch of players from different teams, working for their NFLE system, as well as their NFL team. That's not an effective system for doing it.

I don't know if i could take the QB controversies it would give to the scape goaters of the world though. I could hear it already.

I could see something like this being set up. As long as the teams are put in sensible markets (ie Birmingham, AL...NOT Les Vegas) and the teams are given TRADITIONAL nicknames (NONE of that Arena football crap like Shock, Wow, Steel, XXXtreme, Pride...)

Actually, XXXtreme might not be too bad..the logo could be the playboy bunny or the naked lady airfreshener outline. :whip:
