Also, I'm not so much talking about round 1, more in terms of rounds 4-7, where Scot shines

The average fan, not the brilliance that is you of course!

Seriously tho, I agree, Thomas, Doctson or Treadwell would all be fine fits as far as I'm concerned.

The beauty of my current job is, I can do my job and still spend 3 hours a day researching the draft on the clock. :D

Now tomorrow is going to suck cause I picked up the late shift for one of the guys so he could go on vacation. So I "work" from 11:30 to 8:30... but I will do it from home. This just means I will have the brisket and the pork shoulder in the smoker by noon, and will need to get all my critical work done by 7:00... and hope like hell no emergencies come in after 5:00.

I'm pretty excited about it myself. Took the night off and am looking forward to my '2nd season' studying the draft, heh. Still a newb regarding the process and it's been a lot of fun since I decided to focus on it more.

Its only guessing if you dont do your home work, or get way too invested in a position or player. Once you figure out team need vs player value, you really come down to 1-3 guys who make sense. Now at 21 its a bit harder. But by the time the Lions pick at 15, I will have a pretty good idea of who I think is worth the pick, and who might be willing to trade up to our spot based on who is left. I still got Robinson right now because the value fits, he has the mentality we are looking for, and fills a need. Plus the talent matches. But I also think there is a good chance he is off the board, which is why I think Reed is the other option. If we dont go D-line, I see WR, S, ILB and Center in that order.
