Cousins helps lead them to a game winning FG with 37 seconds left.
that reaction to the win was classic"You like that" for Kirk. not sure if it was a punch or a hug

The new name means expansion team and hence an earning of loyalty .

As far as I am concerned they team didn’t care about me and people of the same age .

And as such the team will have to earn my fandom

So far the product sucks

Morally the front office is bankrupt, the stadium is half empty and changing the name is nothing more then misleading BS

This is bullets to wizards part 2 and the wizards have been urine since their inception

This whole name change things is a huge sore point for me and it will never change

Top 5 pick in a bad QB draft. Just our luck.

C'mon kbso ... we could get the next Shuler ... or even better Griffin.

For now I am in the tank for Corral.
I dont see us getting in front of Detroit. I like him though. I still think Watson makes a lot of sense. I get the optics, but you are trading for a proven. I'd trade Brown, Cosmi, Jamin for Watson right now. Picks are overrated.

I understand it was the pre cap era, but Bethard traded our #1 every year. McVay trades his picks every year for proven commodities.

I was kidding about Shuler. The difference in Beathard was he could draft and he found players other ways. We haven't had a good personnel guy since Bobby.

I am pretty sure Houston would laugh at Brown, Cosmi and Davis for Watson.

Lol....my point was those three guys were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round guys. That's what Houston is asking for. Those picks could have been Watson. Not the actual players themselves.

I agree Bethard was money in the later rounds.

He has the arm and mobility. We need to find out if he can step up with better competition
That's what I was thinking. The level of competition.

Watson is 28-25 as a starter , he has a sexual misconduct list a mile long . Not worth the risk as we should have learned from the RG3 fiasco

Watson is proven at this level. RG3 wasn't.

Speaking of the team name .... I have the Chiefs/Buffalo game on.

We have heard that the team name can't be Warriors because it could imply racist things ... meanwhile KC is named the Chiefs, has an arrowhead on their helmet, is banging a drum right before the start of the game while the fans are doing a tomahawk chop and singing in an native american chant. You don't think Dan and his folks would try to deceive us do you?

You make a great point and why is nobody complaining about the Atlanta baseball team called the BRAVES who also have a drum, tomahawk chop, and sing that same native American chant?

That may be true but then too look at how many teams have same names like Cardinals

Maybe Cardinals was ever trademarked

I don't know about the trademark issue but Stanford used to be called the Indians and they are now called the Cardinals. The Cleveland baseball team just played their last game as Indians but I'm not sure what they will be called next season.

Watson is proven at this level. RG3 wasn't.
Watson is a proven 500 qb and his 4-12 record last yr doesn’t scream elevating talent either

The packers have had 2 franchise qbs ( and HOF guys ) and have 2 titles in like 40 yrs

Brady is the only guy where the franchise qb thing applies to

So giving up picks for a guy with questionable morals , Possible huge legal troubles , possible suspension and not having the “franchise “ guy , nor the picks would set this franchise back another 5-10 yrs. too much to risk

We missed on the savior ( RG 3 ) we weren’t satisfied with a bonafide starter in KC both in 2012 and it’s almost 10 yrs and we still suck dick and we lost the players we could have had
