Can't go into the draft in a position of extreme need. The tackles this year would be nothing more than a reach. Damn, this sucks. Still time for a trade but not looking good. Sambraillo and Stephenson better step up.

Schofield Looked like a NFL player last year . I am okay with him at LT starting

To me this will fit him .

He is about like Lepsis

Lepsis was meaner but more of a bone head . Schofeild will not jump off sides near as much .

Most of the young o lineman we've drafted were supposed to fit a ZBS. Most, maybe not Garcia, have defeciencies in functional strength. We are moving towards a power blocking scheme, I am concerned. Now Joseph has gone on the record saying that he wants our tackles to be able to handle the speed rushers on both sides so maybe Mingo made a valid point. Power up the middle, finesse on the ends

Huge mistake if they don't go after Thomas. No LT left in FA, if they make trade for someone besides Thomas before training camp, he'd probably cost around same if he's any good that is, if you find starter at LT in draft, that means the guys you currently have REALLY suck. Good luck. We better draft a couple more Qbs cause the ones we have now will be in traction by wk 3. Thomas is the smart move. IMHO :)

From what I heard Denver plans on going more straight line with just a little zone mixed in. Hope some of these guys from last year put on some weight and really hit weight room or you might as well turn them into FBs cause that's where they'll be when the qb tries to hand off anyway. ;)

Teams can still pick up veteran players through trades.
It's not wise to second guess management when they have a proven history till things play out.
I'd bet Elway covers the position before camp.

I think it will be a combination of things. I think we draft a T and probably sign one too. Dunlap or Clady would be a decent stop gap, but probably will not make it through the year.

Terrible if Stephenson is the option going into the draft. Would be a Nice way to waste another year of a top defense. They could be forced now to make a trade. Should have signed Okung.

I'm not going to panic until about a month from now if nothing more has happened. A few guys I like in this draft and a couple of trade options that I think are still plausible (Joe Thomas is not one of them). Hearing quite a bit that Philly is looking to shop Jason Peters and that the price isn't as much as some might think. Good chance that a 3rd or less can get the job done possibly as a draft day trade. I would also say that while Peters has less years left that he has actually been the better LT between him and Thomas. For me the order would go Tyron Smith, Trent Williams, Jason Peters, Joe Thomas.

Another name I have been hearing is Jared Veldheer of the Cardinals. They like DJ Humphries a lot to take over that LT spot so again might not be as expensive as say that 2 1st round picks or a 1st round pick and Shaq Barrett that I have heard the Browns are looking for.

Unless something miraculous happens with Watson, I don't think our LT is on the roster yet ..

I think we'll acquire a vet like Peters or Thomas or Dunlap and pick one early

It's no coincidence that Schofield, Sambrailo , Stephenson and Suck all start with the same letter
