No deal today for fangio hogheavan. Well what's the back up plan sounds to me he is shopping around so freak any way do we interview more or say fuckit raheem morris
Yep that's what I been hearing or that's the spin front office is saying .. we just need a dc by the combineThey did offer him a deal don't know what your talking about he is just deciding what he wants to do
Look, Fangio got passed over in San Francisco for his LB coach. He left D.C. without even getting an offer. Don't know what happened in Chicago. Is there something that we don't know?
NFL Quick Takes: Vic Fangio - ESPN
Good read. Redskins still very interested. Possible bidding war between Skins and Bears.
Well, if its about money, we will win that war. We might be waiting for the Bears to make the first bid and then we just trump it, although thats not usually Dan's MO. The Bears were probably waiting to see how it went here. If it didn't go well, then they were the only bidders, he could be had for less. Now they have to dig deep. Wonder if they are still interviewing candidates.
That's what I was thinking. Not like Dan to want the final offer. Usually his way is to just make it impossible for the guy to leave Ashburn. I like Fangio, but I like Schwartz just as much. I could live with Phillips too.
I think I'm freaked out over this because it appears the alternative is a guy who coached a defense that didn't win a game for an entire year and I believe a couple of games at the end of the previous season.
I forgot what the total count of the losing streak reached. It was more than 16. I just know it was the Skins who got them off the hook.
Looked it up for you, the Lions lost 19 games in a row before they beat the Skins. Barry wasn't the DC though, he was fired after the 2008 0-16 season
Who knows. Maybe scot is bringing a new philosophy whereby we interview everyone before we make a decision. Maybe this is good as Dans typical way of doing things clearly hasn't worked. Throwing money at the problem hasn't been the key so far.
