Now that the results are in, his first draft class is being saved by George Kittle. DJ Jones is also a good player but without Kittle, its a lousy class.

But we all know Shannahan plays a part in drafting. and i would think more so on offensive players? I'm sure Shannahan also gave input on Joe Williams and CJ Beathard.

You DO need the Coaching Staff's input, but i'd think their influence today is less than year 1.
