Well maybe not "only blood" but not "grazing an extra large elbow pad"

They are going to need a win in game 5 anyway. Why bring CK back early just to face the same problem again on Thursday?

But then you bring a guy with an injury history back on short rest.
So its going to be Mad Max vs Rich Hill assuming they win today?

I am not following this series or the Dodgers close enough to really argue for or against any strategy, but in general, bringing multiple guys back on short rest is flirting with fire.

Win or go home. Urias would be to scared today. Clayton wants to dominate this game, CK all the way. Furthermore play Tolesey Roberts. wtf?!
That's my point. If the two pitchers are going to be Urias and CK either way (I do nit know if this is, in fact, the case), than I think you pitch both on normal rest. If pitching CK early gives you additional options for game 5, than OK, but CK on short rest (I think) gas a history of semi-blowing up on the dogs...So he's not going to be scared on Thursday in another win or go home?
Ok, so you bring in CK on short rest. That POTENTIALLY reduces his effectiveness, and the dogs STILL have a 100% must win game on Thursday. That leaves Urias or Hill having to pitch that game. Not at all what i mean about Urias. The point @bksballer89 is that if we dont win today, there is no Kershaw at all game 5. IT would be stupid to start Urias, watch him get knocked around early, Sub him in for Kershaw to keep the game close, then lose both pitchers for game 5. Urias is a promising young pitcher, but watching him under pressure he gets shook up and doesnt do well in Regular season games. The moment is to big for him, and besides, Kershaw has something to prove.
If you like Hill on short rest better than Urias of full rest, than OK. I won't argue against that. You know the dogs better than I do. But starting Urias on regular rest and having all-hands-on-deck to cover for a 3 or 4 inning start I think is the better plan...
