I got no dog in the fight but this is getting a lot of run here. First off Scherzer was gassed, the catcher knew it and said so. He was held until Game 3 for a reason, pulling him was the right move. But going to the wrong guy was the issue.

Dear Lord is Rizzo annoying, strutting around like he's Kirk Gibson after hitting a bloop that should have been caught. But even if that play was made does anyone believe a Nats team who has hit .201 in the past 4 playoffs was going to score and break the tie before the Cubs? That continues to be their problem.

I can't remember the last time a game was cancelled due to rain (especially a postseason game).....they are typically postponed a few hours till the storm moves away.

The rain isn't scheduled to stop anytime soon. Also, your point about a game being cancelled isn't true. There are a lot of games during the course of the regular season that have to get re-scheduled, due to rain. The first month of the season had 12, alone.

They do cancel the game if there doesn't look to be a good window to play, or if the rain is expected to be too heavy that the playing conditions would be awful....

Just looking it up quickly, it looks like the 2016 ALDS (Boston vs Cleveland), 2014 ALCS, 2011 WS had cancelled games due to rain.
