Lot of props this round because of the high ass money lines. Like Wednesday I had to take Braves 1.5 just to have damn even money.

But I did take Guardians today. Getting +140 with Bieber was fucking batshit value.

He’s been incredibly dominant vs the Phil’s. Check out these numbers:
18 2/3 innings, 7 hits, 3 runs, 5 BB and 29 Ks

Those numbers are sick. Hopefully he’s a little rusty and they can touch him early and turn this into a bull pen game. If they grab this game by the nuts early they can either:
1. Force Braves to use up a ton of pen prior to tomorrow’s game.
2. Force Braves to waive the white flag to save arms for Game 4.

They’ve really got to jump on these guys early and let the crowd take over. The crowd is a fickle beast in Philly. I’m fearful that as soon as Hoskins is announced he gets greeted by a ton of boos. If he goes down in his first AB he likely catches some more. That crowd can turn on them.

He was filthy in the first two innings. Then he seemed to lose the zone and Marsh walked on 4 pitches. Jean Segura fouled off ball 4 before striking out and the wheels came off on his pick off attempt with Stott up and a 1-2 count. Stott worked a great AB after the throwing error fouling off 4 pitches or so before depositing one into RF corner. The crowd was building throughout that sequence and I think first game back he started to fatigue with his mechanics and then got in his own head after the throwing error. This series has been about teams taking advantage of mistakes. Phil’s in game 1, Braves in Game 2, and so far today Phil’s in Game 3. Lotta baseball left.

He’s at 88. He only threw 80some his Cards start. I send him out for a chance at 21 outs. He gets 8-9 and then Acuna. If he handles 8-9, I let him pitch to Acuna with nobody on. If anybody gets on I pull him. He can go 110 if need be.

Charlie Morton has had a 5.50 ERA vs the Phillies this year. Phillies probably running a bull pen all hands on deck approach and will try and win a 7-5 8-5 type of game. Morton has had a very good playoff career so if anybody can surprise it’s him.

If the Phil’s are gonna do this thing, it has to be today. I don’t want to see them have to get back on the plane again and go down to Atlanta for Max Fried in Game 5 coming off of a loss. He would promise to be much better. Phil’s would have to counter with Wheeler on short rest. Phil’s only used Alvarado for 14 pitches yesterday. After having off Thursday he should be available today for another inning.
