Since the Brewers stink, rooting for the Pirates to take the division.

Sick of seeing the Cardinals in the playoffs with either the NL Central crown or WC with the Reds in the mix.

Pirates get in with at least a WC, would be last team in this division to make the playoffs since realignment.

Pretty amazing that the Pirates have barely scored more runs than the Cubs. Highlights their pitching I guess.

BWhahahaah

You better be prepared to keep waiting.

Hint: See Reds record against teams above .500.

They have no chance up there in cinci. I like Pitt though.

Still they don't have enough.

Cardinals -- Kings of the National League

Who are the Padres?

Another Wildcat fan? Well, I'll be...

I'm really hoping that the Cardinals can get back on track.

A scenario where the Pirates win the division and the Reds and Cardinals play a 1 game playoff would be insane, btw.

In theory, yes. But since the Reds can't beat teams that aren't 10 games under, I wouldn't look forward to it.

K-Rod traded to the Orioles for minor league players.

From TSN:

The Baltimore Orioles bolstered their bullpen on Tuesday by acquiring right- hander Francisco Rodriguez from the Milwaukee Brewers for minor league infielder Nick Delmonico. The 31-year-old Rodriguez is 1-1 with a 1.09 ERA and 10 saves in 25 games this season, his third with Milwaukee. In 707 games, all in relief, for the Angels, Mets and Milwaukee, he has a record of 39-35 with 304 saves and a 2.64 ERA. His 304 career saves tie Jeff Montgomery for 21st on the all-time Major League list. Rodriguez is unscored upon in 22 of his 25 appearances this season. The 21-year-old Delmonico was selected by the Orioles in the sixth round of the 2011 draft. He batted .244 with 13 home runs and 30 RBI in 60 games with Class-A Frederick this season.

Jonathan Luchroy and Aramis Ramirez might be next.

O's, Rays and Red Sox look like they are about ready to leave the Yankees behind unless they get Soriano

He's a 37-year-old LF with a sub-.300 OBP. But then again, his 102 OPS+ would be tied for 3rd on the Yanks.

The Yankees have to be desperate for a bat right now. Even with a bat, their chance at the playoffs isnt great
