For our Reds Joey,and Brandon have a good size lead but there is still alot of time til voting ends. Choo was 5th in voting so he has fallen and Frazier was 5th in voting. So we need to step our game up Reds fans and get as many Reds players as we can in this game. As you all are aware this game means alot more now then what it used to, I don't think it should be up to the fans to pick the lineup, simply because this game does reward the winner with home field advantage in the World Series and that's very big. What are your guys thoughts on this? I'll be updating the Votes on this thread as well. VOTE REDS and GO REDS!

I can't say if too many Giants fans are voting but that little charade last year smelled real damned funny. On the last day, something like 6 million votes came in to vote for Giants players. If nobody cared that somebody hacked the system, then fuck it ... who cares?

Harper leading the vote is precisely why the system is a joke. Half the people voting for this guy never saw a Nationals game ever and the other half live in Tokyo. The ASG vote is online to the entire world, so don't forget ... a real LOT of votes come from people who only vote for people they've heard of, never mind if the guy is on life support.

Last year Ryan Howard got a million votes and he was on the DL until after the ASG.
MLB could have taken him off the ballot but they didn't. You'd think that even the laziest bastard in MLB offices would say, "ya know, this needs to be fixed."

But they don't.

I will say that if Matt Carpenter doesn't make this AS team, we need to really discuss the process with the dipshits in charge. Beltran? Meh ... I wouldn't be sad if he makes it.

Votes are curious things. All kinds of BS legislation gets passed without any of our elected officials owning up to voting for it. Figures don't lie, but liars do figure. Demographics and fan loyalty are the best reasons a team can lose for a century and not only stay in business, but sell out enough to turn a profit. They also determine who gets in the All Star game. He'll, last time I checked Angel Pagan was in the top 10 OF votes, but sure isn't a top 10 OF. He's been on the DL for weeks, and wasn't exactly tearing it up before...but lots of Giants fans (or employees) must like him.

They don't even know who Angel Pagan is, other than it says he plays for the Giants, so he must be good. There are Silicone Valley types who can program in a million votes off the same app. That's how they loaded the game last year. Selig didn't seem to be aware of it, however.

Selig has done for baseball what Keenesaw Mountain Landis hoped to prevent; allow the cheaters to dominate the game . He's not a commissioner, he's a dirty cop looking the other way and stuffing his pockets with bloody money. There can be no integrity in baseball until he's gone, and his miserable legacy is undone. I'm not sure that can ever truly be accomplished.

I think BP,Joey will be starting with Chapman being the closer in the game and Bruce,Choo as Reserves. That's 5 All-Stars which is pretty good.
