He has been waived by CGY. 31 years old and pending UFA making $3 million. Has scored 17,27,22,20 goals in his last four years away from CGY, who lacks playmaking forwards. Not a penalty killer though. I think it's worth a shot. Not sure they have the cap space though.

hmmm interesting... I really dont know anything bout Hagman, but those are nice goal totals if he was a 3rd liner with spot 2nd line duties... What line on Cal was he one? And 3 mil is high, what would SJ pay if they claimed him?

I heard about it earlier, but not sure if Sharks can fit his salary. Sure would be a nice addition to the 3rd line.

liability like brent burns in his own end and breaks almost as easy as the boy in the bubble dipietro, not worth the money

He's a had a few concussions but nothing related to his body that suggests he's injury prone. I think he'd be fine. The only thing is, would acquiring him handcuff Doug from doing anything else due to his $3 salary? I mean, the best thing about it is it would only cost cap space. No draft picks, no players.

On re-entry waivers he might be worth a shot. It would be interesting to see what a change of scenery would do. Calgary seemed to suck the life out of him.

Do you think he'd make it to the Sharks on re-entry Cmon?

im guessing the ice landers or columbus maybe even nashville

Islanders are overloaded at forward. I'd be surprised if they claimed him. The other two I could see putting in a claim.

So I guess no chance for us then. "Darn"

Hey Cmon, what's with the deal with Frazer Mclaren going down to Wor for a conditioning assignment? Is he expected to be on the Shark roster, or does he have to be placed on waivers after his Wor stint?

Hey Cmon, what's with the deal with Frazer Mclaren going down to Wor for a conditioning assignment? Is he expected to be on the Shark roster, or does he have to be placed on waivers after his Wor stint?

It depends on what kind of conditioning assignment he was put on. There's a two week assignment or just a 3 game assignment. The difference being if it's the two week kind the Sharks would have to activate him from the IR/LTIR list, he'd count against the 23 man pro roster, and his salary earned during the conditioning counts against the cap. If it's just the 3 day type he's not considered on the pro roster and doesn't have to be activated from the IR. His salary still counts against the cap but the Sharks would be eligible for cap relief (If needed) for whatever amount he earned during his assignment.

Once McLaren is activated from the IR/LTIR he will have to be placed on a roster. If the Sharks are going to assign him to Worcester's roster he will have to clear waivers first. I expect him to be assigned to Woosta once his conditioning is done.

They also claimed Nabby on re entry waivers whats your point lol

True, but they wanted Nabby for trade bait. If Hagman's going through re-entry waivers, then he wouldn't be a tradeable asset. IMHumbleO.
