Imagine if Lebron came home to Cleveland.

Imagine if the team struggled early but finished the regular season strong.

Imagine if their big man went down, but they still found a way to power through the Eastern Conference.

Imagine if they faced the top seed in the Finals.

Imagine if they pushed Game 1 to overtime but lost another star to injury.

Imagine if everyone counted them out.

Imagine if they shocked the world and took the next two games.

Imagine if fatigue caught up with them, and they lost Games 4 and 5.

Imagine if they defied odds, logic and the basketball gods to come back and win the series in 7.

Except this isn't Hollywood. It's Cleveland.

Nothing is given. Everything is earned.

James put his body on the line and did everything he could, but it was to no avail. For Nike, one of James’ biggest sponsors, though, the story was easy to spin into a simple, yet very effective ad.

I just want to puke and never buy Nike again

I notice that one by one the Miami Heat fans are naming targets as bitches for Lebron. Hmmmm, Bkbllr called the head coach as Lebron's bitch and now Turnipbrain - They sound a bit bitter - Ya Know? :pound:

Still butthurt eh Turnip? You'll get over it one day.

You still brain dead?
I doubt you'll ever get over it.

The insult was directed at Nike, not James.
I wish Nike was my bitch.

Just seems like Nike couldn't come up with anything better than trying to write a happy ending to a season that didn't end happily for James.

Call them reasons, call them excuse.
Who cares?
They lost.
We all already know the supposed story.

Careful.
TLF might get all up in your face.

Anyway, do all the laces on the shoe break?

Holy crap. I thought Turnup was just messing around.

Didn't realize it was real either. :L

Yeah, me neither. Until I read this thread I knew nothing about it and I did a quick Google search and that was the first link that popped up

LOL. Like the president and the article said....its Lebron's world and we are all just living in it. Comical quite frankly. Never ever thought there could be someone who actually appears to be a decent human being that is so egotistical yet so insecure.

i certainly did not make that up.
I'm pretty certain I could do much better.
I honestly can't believe Nike ran with that garbage.

I was all set to give you props because I thought it was pretty funny.

Now that I know it's real, I can't decide if it's funny or sad.
