Why... are we somehow better with Tyler freakin' Sloan in the lineup?

So yeah, the Caps were playing good D before Green was out and will continue to after he returns. He's had his best defensive campaign of his career easily. Not scoring as much, but still moving the puck effectively and contributes more offensively than any of our other blue liners.

I really like the idea of two powerful power play lines, especially if we end up meeting Boston or Philly in the playoffs:

Net: Knuble/Laich
Midboards: Ovechkin/Semin
Cycler: Backstrom/Johansson
Right Point: Arnott/Wideman
Left Point: Green/Carlson
