Maybe so. Power forward types do tend to have a slower development curve.

I consider Benn more of a 2-way forward than a power forward. He has the complete package; I really like his game.

I'm still waiting for someone else to think they can intimidate him into a scrap. Last two that tried he pummeled the shit out of.

He ain't no shrinking violet.

Familiar with both those articles. One thing that gets lost in this "transformation" was that up until last season they had him playing out of position at Center. Once they got Seguin and moved Benn back to left wing where he belongs, things "clicked".

I am an unapologetic homer when it comes to the Stars. Openly admit it... and I would be real interested to see this same poll taken after the 14/15 season.

I agree, although I think he would probably have to lead the league in scoring for him to make any significant progress in popularity in the eyes most folks outside of Texas. Dallas is a bit of an afterthought in hockey; if he played in Toronto he would be greater than Toews and Crosby combined.

If he played in Montreal I believe CI would soil himself.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Haha! Forgot about Ovechkin! Oh how the mighty have fallen :L

I feel that the Capitals' problem is that they didn't have enough quality depth. Adding Orpik should help their D. But it's easy to limit Ovechkin's chances if Backstrom is the only other threat on the ice.
