What I do like seeing is when they get behind (tonight not so much), they ramp-up their play and comeback. To me that means there is another gear, they just don't use it all the time.

that's true but the back then the competition was nowhere near the level it is now

the bruins for example won 13 of their 19 games against expansion teams that year

i mean the wings are breaking a record that is decades old. that's pretty damn impressive imo
