The NHL is back for a jam-packed 2013 season, and—perhaps, best of all—Emrick and NBC's traditional Sunday afternoon national broadcasts are back, too.

From Original Six showdowns to Original Six showdowns, your weekend's final afternoon will be fully occupied from now until at least the end of April.

Bring on the East Coast bias. Bring on the same matchups over and over. Bring on the hours of far too in-depth Sidney Crosby coverage.

I like hearing Doc call a game. Eddie O can usually get in a good point or two. But hearing Milbury and Roenick yuk it up in the intermission drives me crazy.

He being a former Blacksuck, so naturally I always despised him. I remember when he signed with Philly as a UFA, he wouldn't sign with the Wings because Osgood wasn't a good enough goalie.

When asked aboot it, Osgood said he never heard that because he had his multiple Stanley Cup rings plugging his ears..
