Avs lost a great goalie and then traded for an even better one.

Wash just reacquired the goalie they lost in the expansion draft.

Had hoped Seattle would take Dillon in the expansion draft bc of Schultz, Jensen, and Dillon, he offered the worst value to salary proposition. So to pick up two picks for Dillon and give back one of them to Seattle essentially nets us one second round pick and a player we needed to lose from the expansion draft. Not bad, GMBM.

Funny that Seattle acquiring former Cap Grubauer is what sent Vanacek back to us. Pscyched to have him back.

Yeah they don't really have any buyout-able bad contracts either.

from what I've read, the Sabres didn't even bother trying to retain any of their UFAs.

If Eichel doesn't get traded (a real possibility with teams continuing to lowball) things might get ugly.
