I followed 6 teams pretty easy. 30-something is out of my league to follow, I had to look this guy up. I mean, given the recent goalie situation in Detroit, some of the worst in my memory, though he is short in the NHL, I surely like what I saw. Liked his earlier stats also. Thank God Yzerman did something with the goalie situation. With a little luck, this guy could pan out, he is being gifted with this trade, I hope he plays in eternal appreciation for the opportunity.

I think it will work out. Granted his numbers might get a little worse since the defense is nothing compared to the Canes.
The positive in this also is he gave up very little and signed him to a very favorable contract over the next few years.

Also having Griess around is a nice fall back plan if Nedeljkovic struggles anytime during the season.

Whatevs. Detroit’s D is not weak. Moritz Seider will win the Calder and Norris next year. Maybe the Lady Byng too.

BOOK IT!!!

6 years with an AAV of 3.64 per year!
That will be regrettable in a few years, or do they fully expect the Coyotes to take this on by then?

Would have thought he'd get more.

Cheap way to guarantee first overall pick too.

I am laughing but I'd give anything for even 2 out of 3. Screw the Bing for now.

It's an absolute no-risk deal considering where Detroit is and the short term.

Heard a rumo(u)r the Sharks are going to buyout Jones.

What a 180 between his first three seasons and his last three seasons here. He was great during that 2016 run to the SCF.

Nedelkovic's girlfriend is in school at Michigan State and his family is from Cleveland, so this puts him a lot closer to both.

Seeing what Arizona has done with taking on these contracts is enraging (not because of the obvious cap circumventing). The Devils have sat with $20 million in cap space every year and done nothing with it. We should have been compiling assets and utilizing it.
