Alright Habs. Let's try to NOT give up a 3rd period goal.
k. thx.
That shocked me lolon the plus side, 3 more points for Huggy Bear.
It is a close race, can’t lie.
It's Markstrom so far and it's not even close. Toffoli has 1 pt against teams he didn't play for last season, gonna have to do something against other teams before entering that convo (although he may have been worth signing just to beat up on the Canucks tbh), Perry's a taxi squader and at best a peripheral player and Allen's been good but he isn't their starter.I'm not sure if this is real. I haven't watched 1 period of Senators hockey, but I know they are awful.
Price and Allen are having fantastic years.
So what's the best offseason signing for Canadian teams... Corey Perry for less than $750k, Toffoli from the Canucks with a $4.2m cap hit, Jake Allen from the Blues with a $4.4m cap hit and ability to give Price some rest?
Those are just Montreal's, and while it feels obvious to go with Toffoli since he is the leading scorer in the NHL currently, I can also make the case for Corey Perry since he's been very reliable in creating chances, and could also make a case for Allen as it's been such a relief to have a very reliable backup goalie (even if it means we are spending 18% of our cap space on 2 goalies.)
Ok, but any free game or game I can find online (so far no luck) I am watching. And if they are fortunate enough to make the playoffs I will watch.

Markstrom's 4th in the league in sv% (5+ GP).
