It really begs the question how bad would the Oilers be if they don't win the McDavid lottery?!?

If Toronto’s lottery ball fell they’d probably have Marner, which would be alright. Obviously not Connor but hardly a terrible consolation.

If Buffalo had won and the order didn’t change from the odds they 100% would’ve taken Dylan Strome and would have 100% wound up winning the lottery again sometime between 2018 and now.
