I know it's only one game, but the Oilers can't be feeling good about the goaltending duo of Koskinen and Smith. That said, Koskinen was hung out to dry several times last night.

Tickets are not hard to come by unless it's against the Pens, Wings or (to a degree) Hawks. Tickets also get harder to get after the Buckeyes football team is eliminated/finished but by no means "hard".

I also must recommend Bacon on a stick, at the smokehouse at the top of the south Nationwide Blvd entrance escalator.

I’d drive to Columbus just to try the bacon on a stick.

That said, the Oilers honored Joey Moss in the pre-game skate with 'MOSS' on the back of their jerseys which was a nice touch.

that was a hell of a save.

too many chances given up - but i guess it is only game 1.
that Quinn pass-from-the-ass could have very easily been a 3 on 1 going the other way.
Motte saved the day for a second.
I'm still trying to figure out if Huggy was just trying to get it deep of it was a pass.
I mean, it was RIGHT on the tape, but come on..... that was ridiculous.

I tuned in to the Rangers game and was like "I don't know what Johnson's number i- Oh. There he is."

So noticeable. And not for good reasons. Stepped up, missed the hit. Then he joined the rush, dropped a pass at the Blue line, wound up below the circles in the O-Zone while the Isles went the other way.

Looks like the Devs are going with a Subban/Murray pairing.
