I think Corey Potter had 2 mins of ice time (lol). I agree, Flames will have to roll the dice and gave minutes to guys who are pretty shaky.

Did u see that tonight. Sbisa got his hockey pants at the start of the year and they had corey potters name label stitched inside of them ?????

Factory error. But sbisa didnt send them back and has played wearing them all seasonlol

lol - Dave, you still have a 2 Cups to 1 lead on the missus.
Yeah, I am going to have a lot of teams to root against. Ducks, Hawks, all the teams in the East, all the teams in Canada, teams with meaningless names (what the hell is a Blue or a Wild?) and teams named after fossils.

Ducks won a Cup with only four d-men, it can be done. Seriously, their 3rd pairing that playoffs was Kent Huskins and Joe DiPenta.

But that had more to do with the coach than anything else.

Ducks are smoke and mirrors - taking away shootout awarded goals, their goal differential is plus 6. I don't think a (probable) Presidents runner-up has ever had a spread that poor.

I don't see them beating any of those teams, but they did fare well against the Jets and Wild this season so probably the Jets.

Speaking of coaches, with the Flames making the playoffs, does Hartley win the Jack Adams?

That seems to be the only criteria these days - take your non-playoff team to the playoffs.

I could see Joel Q get some nods - team has gone 12-7-1 since Kane got hurt (and 3 of those L's have come in the last 3 games). Alain and Trotz deserve mention.

I would put Lavy in the mix as well (Preds have had a fine season) and as you mentioned BBB, AV coached the Rangers to a President's Trophy. Hartley, Lavy, and AV would be my three finalists.

Coach Q always seems to fly under the radar, but he's a heckuva coach.

sounds about right by me

WillieD prob doesnt deserve to be in that group ... so many too many men penalties ... so many games where canucks came out flat and gave up the first goal

although thank you willie for rolling 4 lines!!!

Does Mike Yeo get credit for the Adams for having the coaching acumen to start Dubnyk in every game? :D
