Steve Downie didn't have a prayer, I would have put out Reverend Lovejoy.

No clue how Pouliot didn't make it out there. And Bennett had the game...can't believe he missed the yawning cage. Was it exciting? Sure. But gosh it's bullshit. We need 3 on 3, then I'll be a bit more satisfied, but anyone that watched the 3rd/OT of that game knows it deserved more than a freaking sideshow ending. Niemi basically stole the game, which happens and I'm fine with the Pens' play, but the freaking shootout...gah.

Although this incident isn't Perry...I was reminded this weekend how thankful I am to not have to deal with that rather large bag of scum on a regular basis. At least with other scum bags you can rest your thoughts in the fact that they're without talent. Scum bag.

Not saying the maroon didn't turtle, but the scarecrow's gotta square off, not just drop em start chucking before the cowardly lion can even get his paws out.

/apparently Maroon crossed the red line and Kassian let him know about it

Yeah, turtling gets cries of cowardice a lot, and some times it is (I don't know the context of this, and whether Maroon even did anything to deserve a punch), but I'll never support a guy being forced to fight. It's dangerous territory. SEE: Orpik, Brooks and Thornton, Assface.

he took out daniel and was getting the initial penalty

then selected to stand there and let kassian drop his gloves

to which kassian was called a dummy for taking a retaliation penalty ... im ok with kassian doing that everygame ... scoring a gwg and protecting a sedin ... 82 games of that please dummy

i wasnt saying you did ... just intimating a leafs fan knows where truculence can take a team :thumb:

Well my dad has been telling me for the last week that that's what the Leafs really need right now, so I'm a little sensitive about it. I don't want to hate my dad!
