They need to keep playing hard like they have been and Bob needs to stand on his head. They've taken down Detroit, Pitt and TB in this stretch (Caps too). They've got confidence, but can they execute the whole game is the big question. And they can't put that Caps power play out there all night either. Gotta be disciplined. They gave them like 6 chances last time, including a 5 on 3?

I just hope that if they do, they do it in regulation. Can't be giving division rivals a point.

Good news everyone! The Blue Jackets have arrived at the arena.

Holy cow. 3 fights, several massive hits and 2 goals. Now it's a hockey game.

Capitals and Blue Jackets; rivalry confirmed.

Nick motherfuckin' Fo-LEEN-O! 2/3 of the way to a Gordie Howe hat trick. Just needs a fight. I expect that will come soon.

Man, Nick Foligno likes playing the Caps. 4 goals and an assist in their last 2 meetings.

Boom... more greatness from Green gave Eric Fehr a wide open chance and he makes no mistake about it. Caps win 5-4 on the road. That makes 12 points of the last 14 possible. Playing good hockey.

Great hockey game overall. Good hitting, great scoring.

You can kick with the outside of your foot. When you are looking at the puck, you just have to move your foot in a sweeping outside motion. There was one prime example of it happening tonight. I will find a gif for you.

Absolutely not a kicking motion. You are allowed to angle your skate.

Shot chart showed the Caps dominated this game and got a deserved win. Jackets shots largely came from the wings. Bobrovsky kept Blue Jackets in the game with some great saves, but Caps kept up the intensity and won it.
