Pretty impressive win against their more successful expansion cousins. 2013 Rookie of the Year Jonathan Huberdeau doubles his season totals for the year in this game. If the Panthers could ever get him going again they could be dangerous.

Congratulations to Brandon Gormley on his 1st NHL goal. Even though he always played for teams I cheered against in junior, I always liked him as a player.

I like Hubey's game - he's gaining confidence and that's a really important thing - same thing with guys like Nick Bjugstad - this Panthers team is so fun to watch and I think Gerard Gallant is a terrific coach who is getting them to play the right way

I think he lost some confidence after his injury and has slowly been regaining it. That shootout goal he got the other night might have been what he needed to regain it. I'm a big fan of his (met him a few times and he use to wear my avatar) so hopefully he can stay somewhat hot and play as well as he did as a rookie.

Hubes is gonna be good. Probably never a superstar but an elite second centre on a good team. Still just 21, he has the heart and skill to excel in the NHL.
