They dont have to put him on waivers to recall him. No recall waivers with the new cba

The fact he cleared waivers in training camp means markstrom actually has trade value now (not to mention hes playing well in the a)

He has trade value, but everyone knows with Ryan Miller and Eddie Lack there, he's not going to get much playing time, so eventually something will have to give imo

First rounder for Reimer. Leafs can call up Gibson, Jackets get a solid second option and leverage when it comes to negotiating with Bobrov.

Don't know how well Reims would take well to being water boy / door man 85% of the remaining games.

Besides, no first rounder. If they go after a goalie it will be later picks/prospects. That first rounder this year could potentially be a franchise maker if it keeps going this way.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them dangle Milano or Rychel.

I'd check in on Jacob Markstrom - Canucks don't have much leverage there, if they put him on waivers someone's taking him

I would love that. Markstrom's got good instincts. Plus he's fucking HUGE.
