When I did a quick count of the Kings and Leafs after listening to his nonsense I actually got 16 Canadians on the Leafs and 13 Canadians on the Kings.

Yeah logic seems to leave the room when Don speaks.

And I can think of 29 other teams that would want Anze Kopitar on their roster.

I hear that the HNIC broadcast spent much of the Pens-Leafs game saying they need to trade Malkin...so it's officially hockey season now.

Yeah but according to Don the Leafs only have Swinns and Fedes, and the occasional US college player.

Also, 1985 #1 overall draft pick Wendel Clark is the only impact player the Leafs have drafted in the last 18 years. True story.

In 1989 the Leafs took 3 Belleville Bulls in the first round, all of them from within a couple hundred kilometres of Toronto (London was the furthest). They played a total of 225 games for them, although Scott Thornton did at least manage to stick around in the NHL for a long time.

Later in that same draft the Red Wings took Lidstrom, Fedorov and Konstantinov. Thank God we got the local guys though.

Well, the Wild still can't score PP goals this year

Well considering the Avs can't score any type of goal against them in 2 games, I wouldn't be overly concerned about the PP at this point.
