KuklasKorner : Hockey

Business is business, and I don't know what was going on behind the scenes, but it sounds like Kukla was unceremoniously dumped by NHL.com. Poor decision to drop a popular blogger like that if you ask me, and it sounds like they were very unprofessional about it.

I visit KK on a daily basis and I appreciate the fact that Paul Kukla brings in stories from not only all 30 NHL teams, but from around the world as well as updates regarding former NHL players etc. Paul Kukla should have a full time gig on Hockey Night in Canada's Hotstove instead of that dooshnozzle Eric Francis.

I like Paul because of the things Dash illustrated above, but he's always seemed like a cantankerous old curmudgeon. From the highly public bouts with Eklund (not that I blame him) to his strong opinions (which I like), I can see why a pretty neutral website like NHL.com may sour on him. I'll still read him at kuklaskorner though.

(EDIT: I may be wrong about him though, this is just my perception)
