All Roberto Luongo did was make 28 saves in the third period to help the Panthers win 3-2

Real snoozer of a game (3rd period was the best). Chris Butler actually played well last night and the speedy Paul Byron is quickly becoming a fan favo(u)rite.

I don't go out of my way to watch Sabres games (tough in Charlotte unless you want to purchase Center Ice). Sounds like I made a good decision last night.

Niemi on Sunday looked like Patrick Roy, but against the Panthers he looks like Bryzgalov, typical.

I know he did. But that doesn't make up for the fact that he looked like Swiss cheese in the time he spent with the Flyers.

Shutting out an AHL Isles team isn't that impressive.
