Not a single goal scored for either Alberta team tonight...

Well, they play each other on Saturday night, but technically they could both go scoreless in that game if it goes to a shootout and it's 0-0

Oh well, even if the penalty had been called as a 2-min minor, the goal scored off that PP occurred within the first 2 minutes anyway.

Tanner Glass on officiating: "They've had time off, too."

"Yeah", he added. "Usually the phantom calls go OUR way. We have captain Canada, you know!"

So teams that had key players *in* the Olympics kinda nut punched teams that had key players watching at home.

NJ: Jagr, Elias
SJ: Marleau, Pickles, Pavelski
Minny: Suter, Parise
LA: DoughBoy, QuickandDirty, fuck Jeff Carter, little shit
Detroit: Team Sweden

Yay for killing momentum mid season! Some seriously ugly games last night.

Are you not allowed to pass up opportunities to rip my team? I know there's dislike, and I understand it. But I'm allowed to make comments that are likely biased. That's just part of being a fan. Sorry I like a team you don't.

Yep, quite true. I don't think the Pens would've scored again in that short period of time, but man 5 minutes is a great chunk of time spent killing a penalty. It's just sad that's it's not really worthy of a 2 even. I'm not even sure what the call was. Elbow? Contact to the head?

At first I thought it was a high sticking penalty :L, but they called it elbowing.

I'm not one who generally likes the idea of replay, especially for penalties, but it's something to consider when it comes to major and misconducts. This particular game is very likely of minimal importance, to the Pens...the point for the Habs may be very big indeed, in the long run, but imagining something like that call happening in the playoffs is scary.

Go get a cup of coffee. Take a long walk. Come back when you're in game shape.

That picture is missing peach fuzz.

He's also not speedbagging someone's junk while simultaneously whining to the ref.

I call bullshit on this so-called Captain Canada.
