I think BB's ego made it so he never adapted as the game changed. It leads to people disregarding his peak because his end has been so terrible.

This

he legit felt like he didn't need Brady. As if he made Tom. Tom made Tom.

He just figured he could plug Mack Jones in and walla

Reid really does have the best shovel passes in the league by a country mile. It's normally a dogshit play and they make it look unstoppable in goal to go situations.

The anti-Belichick agenda seems to magically forget the early 2000's existed and Brady wasn't Brady™ until later.
Belichick was one of the great coaches but eventually the league shifted to be offensive oriented. Brady did have a good defense way more often than not, though. And the Patriots somehow getting Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez, and most importantly Gronk really did go a long way to make both Brady and Belichick work for so long.

Its because technically they're all slightly different iirc And the Chiefs OL is generally really good.

Belichick was 5-13 with the highest paid player in the NFL Bledsoe who already went to a SB . Missed the playoffs in 08 when Brady was out and then 2 out of next 3 years, only one was when he spent 220 mill in FA. Not saying it was Brady's arm, but his leadership. Cleveland was going to playoffs with Kosar and he got fired from that job. Reid who I think is the best in the game went to 3 NFCG in a row with McNabb, won with Smith, Mahomes or whoever you put in there. 1 playoff win in 10 seasons and only 2 playoffs speak volumes along with .477 winning pct
