Two major questions Adam would have to ask himself.

1. Do you plan on bringing him back?

2. Does he make you a contender?

If the answer to either one of those is no, trading a pick for Hopkins would be a tough pill to swallow.

1) I would say no b.c of his age.
2) Yes, when healthy Hopkins is a force to deal with.

If Adam thinks both Browns and Luke can make an impact on this team RIGHT NOW, then you stand pat.

IMO depends on what the situation looks like for the team and who’s available at trade deadline
If you want long term success you hold on to them . We are winning with what we have . Our coaching is doing it , we don’t need to give up top 100 resources for half year rentals . Why give up picks AND burn up cap space when you can simply be patient and have both

I understand what you’re saying

but there are exceptions such as players you pick up and extend or players that fit exactly what the team may need at that point in time.

For example, I could see a CB picked up if the right player and deal came along.

I could also see us do nothing and be just fine with it

Dont want hopkins for a draft pick. Keep the pick and lean on who you have.

Sinnott? Luke?!?!

I’m not expecting a CB that’s perfect for us to magically appear but once again, stranger things have happened and what happens behind the scenes is something we are not privy too.

i was simply giving an example of a scenario where I could see something happen.
