I think we have a better shot at making the Super Bowl than the Ravens. Not because we are better but because they have KC, Buffalo, and the Texans.
The ravens have been a contender for years , they have a shot at a superbowl. We are unproven trending upward

Actually, there is more reason to doubt them than there is us. Like I said, the Ravens have to beat KC, Buffalo, and the Texans. Baltimore also doesn’t win in the playoffs. I do like this Baltimore team far more than previous ones.

The odds on favorite in the NFC is Detroit. From there, no dominant team exists.

The ravens were In the afc championship game last season and it’s well worth the effort to add guys to help push you over . We on the other hand haven’t proven we can consistently beat contenders on a regular basis . Now I hope we continue on our path with who we have and save resources. The ravens are further along and have proven they can play with the chiefs , bills and Texans if not outright beat them . We haven’t proven we can beat the eagles , lions. Boys falcons or 49ers . We aren’t there yet

I think one thing we all have to remember is Washington has two wins without a TD other than a last second play that fails 91% of the time. That should be concerning. All that said who had the Redskins at 6-2 after 8 games? No one that I can remember.

The offense was on fire for a few weeks but slowed a lot last week. Next few weeks against NFL East rivals and Pittsburgh should bring more clarity.

Yes they were in the AFC Championship game but you didn’t ask that. You asked about the SB. The Ravens have also proven they can lose to all those teams. So you say it is OK for the Ravens to try and improve their team to beat those other teams.

Then, you say we haven’t beat those NFC teams and you are correct. They have also not proven they can beat us. Why then shouldn’t we try to improve to beat them.

I’m not sure what you are saving resources for? You’re stuck on this three to five year rebuild philosophy. We are well beyond that. We ARE a playoff bound team, unless something catastrophic strikes. Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. Now is the last chance to improve the talent on this team before the playoffs. I agree do it diligently, but don’t be shy because of a preconceived belief of where this team should be.

how great is this, we are talking about who is a real threat to stop us in the playoffs.
I was thinking the same thing. What team wants to face Jayden Daniels in the playoffs, assuming they make the playoffs and I would never assume that on November 1st.

Not at the cost of high draft picks and then have to pay them as well Especially when we don’t need to , the ravens are on the cusp of a superbowl , we are not , we are winning with what we have

I get that as a fan who has an opinion of draft/trade philosophy… but what in APs track record makes you worry that he will do this?

Negative, not a 5 year rebuild mode , I am in we have a butt ton of cap space and 9 draft picks that could set this team up for 1/2 decade or more mode . I am in we are winning with what we have already mode , I am in let’s not go full Snyder and give up resources for 1/2 year rentals mode just to win a playoff game and have less to fill holes with when this team can do the same thing without doing it and save the resources .

I dont think he is making any moves unless in case of injury . I am answering the barrage of questions from people who just want to trade
For guys for the sake of trading and getting 1/2 year rentals , old players , or toys when can get next year

This is a huge tip of the cap towards the current regime for you.

There is no one on this board who has been more staunchly entrenched in the 3-5 year rebuild model

Happy to see this as one who never believed that it HAD to take 3 - 5 years of patience to see massive improvement in a team and franchise.
