Reports are that NFL teams would rather have Sam then take a chance on J.Winston or MM. Wow seems Sam has market value. Where have we heard this before...

Only from you Cougar.

Ha! Now NFL teams too!! :agree: I just don't know how to do the links. It's on B/R. Someone will link it. And keep a close eye on the Cardinals if he becomes available. Just saying.

This is why I said trading for Foles is dumb. A lot of teams would love Sam. He should be our starter next season and we should have a young guy behind him learning.

Well having Sam and Foles would be good plan but the Eagles aren't going to trade him. I would really be surprised if they did.

I don't they would either.

But if we brought Foles in, Sam wouldn't redo his deal and get cut and then go start somewhere else... hmm like Philly???

Dumb to trade for Foles IMO

I will say again for everyone to hear... Sam Bradford, assuming health, will be the Rams starter in 2015. According to Jim Thomas of the Post Dispatch, discussions have already begun to restructure Sam's deal to cut the cap money in half and set the rest as incentives. I would be VERY ok with that.

Beyond Sam, I have a gut feeling that Jake Locker will end up being the "competition from outside the building" but will ultimately be the backup. Then they will draft Grayson or Petty as a #3. No Hill, no Davis... please and thank you.

The other teams are using reverse psychology on the Rams front office hoping they keep Sam and stay away from drafting that position :pound:

That article says the Rams WANT to restructure his contract? I haven't seen anything that says they are actually talking yet?

Sometimes its better the devil you know. We should have made a move for a QB last year. Its pretty dam slim pickens this year. That being said who knows if Bradford will even be ready for the opener?

He has more time than he did last year, so he should be ready.

Tis true shops but IMO he wasn't ready last year.

Sure, but he got hurt a full 2 months sooner this year. If that isn't enough, he might be a bigger problem than we think.

Well I assume if they're redoing the deal they'll make his contract and extend it so he'll get security for the new deal

JT tweeted early this morning that Bradford's agent will be at Rams Park today to continue discussions that started over the weekend. It is going to get done.

One idea I read was to convert a lot of the money to performance incentives.

Well that's good news I didn't see that.

If Sam goes to AZ I will laugh. Our defense would knock his ass out just like they did their top 2 QBs this year.

I would think if Sam leaves, he would run far away from the NFC West.
