4.54 for Poyer on the official is a big difference. Ouch.
So, according to NFLN's simulcam...
- Slay beat Trufant to the 10 by about 1 head and beat Milliner by a good sized step.
- Slay beat Trufant to the 20 by at LEAST 1 step and Milliner by about 1 full stride.
- Slay beat Trufant to the 30 by 1 yard and Milliner by about 1 1/2 yards.
- When Slay finished his 40, Trufant was ahead of Milliner by 1/2 or 1/3 of a head length (legs were equal) and Trufant and Milliner were extended to the 39-yard line. Trufant and Milliner were basically equal by the time they traveled the extra yard to cross the line.
So that just gives you a more accurate picture of their 40s. According to NFLN's official times the 3 guys were split by .02 of a second but the picture that I painted is a better way to look at it in my opinion.
Thanks Pozz. So Slay's time should be even faster. Dude might go in the first round now.
And now they managed to wreck Rich Eisen's 40 attempt this year by adding "Leon Sandcastle" to the mix.
